It was nice to have Nikki as a teacher. She taught the class from the perspective of someone learning German for the first time. The handouts given by Nikki and Prof. Weigmann were helpful. It also helps to train us in listening, when the professors speak to us and make comments in German.
The first survival German class was a low start, but since then, the classes have been good. There is a good class participation and this helps build understanding and momorization.
