Wow, what an experience!

"Wow, what an experience. Definitely 3 of the best weeks of my life. As I soon learned after arriving, study abroad is not just about taking classes and doing your homework, in fact, that's just a small part of it. The whole trip was part of the experience.

We had a great group of 29 students from all over the US and Mexico, and everyone quickly began to bond after arriving. All of the summer school staff and German students were amazing. Dr. Welford and Nikki were awesome teachers, I think I learned more in 3 weeks of class here than I did in a semester back home, and by the way, I have been using my survival German all around Germany! Learning a little bit of German was really fun when you could put it to use everywhere around you and it has inspired me to learn more. The German students also made us feel like part of the community and took us all around the town, I feel like I have lived part of my life in Heidelberg, it has become like a second home. Thanks for everything SRH Heidelberg, I hope to be back to visit in the near future! Please send more students to Cal State Fullerton, I would love to help them out however I can. Titan Pride!
