Submerging in a foreign culture
When I first arrived here in Heidelberg, I had no idea what to expect. The weather was beautiful and the campus was more so. I was astonished by how warm and welcoming the faculty and summer school team greeted us. With a program like this one, in which a student is completely submerged in a culture foreign to their own, it is incredibly important that they are made to feel welcome. As each day passes, we learn more and more about the way business in Europe works and how to communicate with those in it. With a little over two weeks to go, I'm excited to know that it can only get better from here. (J., SDSU)
