Well last Sunday I was able to go to the Müller vine yard, in Heidelberg-Leimen. Before i left to go to the winery i had no idea what to expect. The weather here in Germany is very unpredictable so deciding on what clothes to wear is more of a challenge. Fortunately, for us the sky was clear and we could see all of leyman (editor: "Leimen") from the hill that we had our wine tasting on. Now I´m not much of a wine person but after this trip I realized what I have been missing. The fact that we got to eat cheese and bread was fantastic. I expected to have a couple of tastes of different wines and just relax. As soon as my glass was empty it was immediately filled.
We were able to try 6 different types of wine and a glass of champagne.I was so happy enjoying my wine that i did not even mind the fact that it was really hot outside (30°C). It was so nice to just sit back with my friends and not have to worry about anything in the world, although we did have to worry about refilling our glasses. It was also really nice to hear about the wine process. I´ve been to breweries and distilleries so I had to go to a winery.
This day hands down was my favorite day of the trip, i just wish i could take more than one bottle home with me.
